Happy Tails
Happy Tails, Sacramento's first no-kill pet facility, was established in 1993 in response to the Sacramento region's serious pet overpopulation problem. Since then we have developed a successful adoption program, extensive foster home system, ongoing feral cat Test-Neuter-Release (TNR) program and more. Nearly 200 volunteers help us do what we do today, and our generous donors support our efforts. Our long-term goal is to create a larger sanctuary where animals that are not adopted can live out their lives in peace and tranquility.
